COMMODITY BROKERAGE

White Shadow Commodities is a key SBU within White Shadow Investments which primarily engages in commodity brokering of agro, construction, mining and manufacturing related equipment, inputs and consumables.

The main categories of products sourced and supplied through White Shadow Commodities fall under 4 brackets, namely:

Construction and Mining Equipment and Consumable Oils - Hydraulic and Specialised Oils and Grease - Mostly comprised of transmission, gear and lubrication oils.
Industrial Electricals - Transformers and armoured cables.
Agricultural Inputs, Outputs and Equipment - Fertilisers, crop chemicals, seeds, grains, cereals, edible oils - Mostly comprised of maize, soya, rice, beans, wheat, flour, sugar, sunflower oil and palm oil.
Pharmaceuticals - Medical equipment, medicines, medical consumables and water treatment chemicals.

TRANSPORT

White Shadow Transport has two arms, mainly passenger transport & haulage trucks.

Passenger transport comprises buses, mostly 65 seaters. The buses, which come with well trained and experienced drivers, are in excellent condition and are available to hire at reasonable rates for schools, corporates, as well as church trips and sporting functions. The buses also have trailers to cater for the passenger’s goods.

Our haulage trucks are able to ferry any product weighing from 5 to 34 tons. The nature of products transported are well catered for as White Shadow is able to provide flat deck trailers, bulk sided trailers, side tippers, dumpers, fuel tankers, refrigerated trucks and super links, depending on the nature of the client’s business.

White Shadow meets all industry standards and regulations in environmental management, as well as handling of hazardous chemicals and goods.

DISTRIBUTION

The growth strategy of White Shadow Distribution includes franchising and distributorship.

Currently, White Shadow is in negotiation to be the official distributors of good quality oils and lubricants. White Shadow is also in the of process of securing the franchising and distribution rights of automotive parts, electrical components, industrial and manufacturing inputs.

In addition to the franchising of industrial and manufacturing equipment & consumables, White Shadow is actively seeking opportunities in franchising within the food industry.
